Come Join Us! Team 8057 – All Wired Up invites all area students, parents, teachers, professionals and potential mentors to attend our annual Back2School – Back2Robotics Open House at the Edge UMC Hill Building in Groveland on Friday, 8/7/26 from 6-8pm.
Come see a robotics demonstration and meet our middle and high school robotics team members from South Lake, Sumter, West Orange and Polk Counties. Our award-winning middle/high school program is locally recognized for our STEM education opportunities. Our programs are open to all students (Public, Private and Homeschool) in South Lake County as well as Sumter, Polk and West Orange Counties.
Students, parents and the business community are invited Friday evening August 7 to the Edge UMC’s Hill Building (446 South Main Avenue in Downtown Groveland). The agenda will include a short presentation and a hands on opportunity to operate the robot from this past year’s competition. We’ll be there from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Team Students and Mentors will answer questions from parents, students and the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for FIRST Team 8057 based in Groveland (441 S. Main Ave,; Room 207 in Groveland).
We’ll also give tours of our workshop to interested students, parents and community members.
Not only does Team 8057 build robots, but also strong relationships and leadership skills. There are over 80 million dollars in college scholarships available through this international program.
